audio reports during my run.

During a run I used to get split data read out from my phone but it has stopped. Volume is up but I can't figure out what has gone wrong

Have you restarted the phone?

If there has been an recent update to Text-to-Speech engine on your phone, it often requires a restart of the phone to get audio prompts from Garmin Connect Mobile (and others) to start working again.
