Vivosmart 4 shows steps in My Day but not on watch

My vivo smart 4 shows my steps on my watch & in my Day, but my husband's only shows his steps in My Day. It's a new watch & we can't get the steps on the screen. We've clicked on edit My Day & its showing up there. How do I get it on his watch?

Have you added the Steps widget to the watch?

Thank you. We got it now. Just had to click on the device icon at top of screen on the app, select appearance then widgets. Many thanks for replying with the info.
