Cannot open activity details in Garmin Connect app for Android

Since a few weeks, I cannot open activities to show the details. Every time I try, detail window closes after 1 or 2 seconds and Connect app returns to previous page. I already tried clearing cache and data as well as re-installing the whole app, but without any improvement. However, I can still show details of older activities, e.g. activities done in Marc this year.

What about web Connect? Can you see the details there?

Yes, I can access the details of the activities in the Web Connect Seite.

Did you check out the threads in the "Related" column to the right?

Yes, I did. However, these posts either are about Connect Web and not the app, or do not solve my problem.

If I recall, there were specific activity types, such as hiking, that could not be opened in the mobile app after the latest update. Probably need to contact Garmin Support to open a case or to be added to an existing case.
