Garmin Connect App Android Crashing

From old posts, I see this happens occasionally. This doesn't seem to be a global issue.

You said you uninstalled/reinstalled already but I would take it a step further than just uninstalling. Might be different, depending on your model of phone

• Settings >> Apps >> Connect >> Force Stop >> Storage >> Clear cache & Clear data.
• Uninstall app
• Restart phone
• Reinstall app

If still no joy, contact Garmin Support (chat or phone) for more detailed assistance. They will need to pull logs from your phone to see what exactly is causing this.

Same here after the update on an android phone. When opening details of an activity the app crashes. Solution of seilogramp does not work.

Contact Garmin.

If you Garmin to do something, you need to contact Garmin Support as seilogramp suggests.

in the mean time, you could try clearing the cache for the app.

My Garmin Connect app now seems to be working. I can't claim to know why, however I installed Garmin Express on my Mac and followed these instructions to step 10.

After a sync with Garmin Express. I then copied back the PendingSyncUploads from my desktop to its original location. 

Another sync with GarminExpress, then sync'd the phone and everything started to work again...
