4 hour hiking badge.

The details below worked for me as well. Although if the badge is there the activity should be one you can choose rather than change what you have on there. Will Hike appear on my watch now or just on my phone

The sync is only one way. From watch to phone. You will not change anything on the watch by changing an activity on the phone or the web.

Old watches will never get support for the new activity types. Not even the latest watches will get all new activity types. To get all badges you need to record the activity as something else and then change to the correct type.
