Hiking Badge

Question

I am being presented with a 'hiking' badge this month but I don't have hiking as an activity. Will it recognise 'walk' as a hike if I select this? I have the Vivo Active 3. Hike is not on the list of activities to add either. TIA.

 No, but you can try to change the activity type to "Hike" in garmin connect after the activity is uploaded. Not sure if this will count toward the badge, but I think it's worth trying.
