Export the ride from strava as a GPX
Import into Garmin Connect Web as a course
Go to connect.garmin.com/.../courses
Click on "Import", save the course
Either "Send to Device" using Garmin Express or open the course in the Android Connect app, click the vertical ellipsis, then Send To Device and tap your Edge 830.
