My avatar image does not update on the mobile app

Selecting an image from my Galery (with Nextcloud as an image content provider on the phone) for my avatar does nothing. Though I'm able to select an image, the image for the avatar is *not* changed.

Changing the image on the Web (https://connect.garmin.com/modern) does change the avatar on the web but does not sync to the phone.

This is a pretty basic, very simple feature of an everyday app and it puzzles me, that since the rest of the app seems pretty well compiled, this very trivial thing lacks.

What am I doing wrong?

I've done some tests with changing the image from the app and from the web and it works perfectly and updates the other right away. I just need to reload the screen to see the new image.

Test if it works better if you take a different image (jpeg under 2 MB in size) or take a photo.

Hi, I just played around a little again and the mobile app still showed me stock gallery icon as of yesterday. So given up, wrote that report, plugged in my phone for recharge.

Now you answered and I said myself, "Ok, so maybe it's because I'm using a PNG and not a JPG" switched over to the phone and ... bammm ... surprise, surprise! Without me doing anything the mobile *secretly* synced to my image somehow. o.O

I assume this is maybe some sort of refresh issue on the app.

So, errrm, seems solved by some benevolent spirit in the machine.
