Garmin watch failed to connect to iPhone

I have trouble connecting my Garmin 235 to my new iPhone! I have tried every solutions the app suggested, restart app! restart phone! Uninstalled and reinstalled, disable Bluetooth and enable....you can expect nothing work! After countless of tries and days of suffering I finally found the cure! Sweet!

well, it’s actually the result of an over-sight!

when there is a new phone, it usually mean there is an OLD phone! That’s right! The old phone has occupied the Bluetooth connection, that’s why although the app in the new phone can detect the Garmin watch, it will not sync it!  In the old phone I thought removing the watch from the Connect app would be enough but didn’t realise that the Bluetooth was still connected regardless! So one must go to iPhone setting>Bluetooth to remove the device in the old phone for the new one to work, or keep your old phone far far away when you try to connect the watch and your new phone!
