I have the edge 530 and it frozen after today ride

I have the edge 530 amd owned it 5 months never missed at beat beat on the return from todays ride i pressed stop ride the red square came on the screen but then when i went to upload the ride the screen is frozen , i cant get it to do anything pressing any sequence of button pressing .. please help

Press and hold the power button for a long time and it will shutdown.

Did you work out a solution that didn't involve losing your ride?
