Vivoactive 4s not automatically starting walk

I got my device last month. It was automatically recording my walking activities after 5 minutes as I had set it up to do in the app. Over the last couple of days it has failed to detect me walking on three occasions (and therefore not recording an activity), but in between has detected other walks. Has anyone else had this issue?

It should of course work as intended, but I suggest that you don't use the autostart activity since it doesn't always start when you want it to and stops the activity when you want it to continue…

It should of course work as intended, but I suggest that you don't use the autostart activity since it doesn't always start when you want it to and stops the activity when you want it to continue. Start the walk activity manually instead. On the top watches autostart isn't even available as a function. It has been removed for a reason.

Why it doesn't autostart is probably that it doesn't detect your walk. Maybe you are holding something in your hand like a stroller or similar or don't move your arms enough.
