Can anyone help with a corrupt fit file. Tried with online tools but still not working?

Hi I hope someone can help with a corrupt fit file from my Garmin Edge 810. I have tried FitFileTools and garmin.kiesewetter.nl but I have had no luck with either.2021-03-28-12-18-42.fit.zip

Any help would be very appreciated.

There was a lot wrong with this. What happened? What is the correct distance and time? In order to repair, I had to remove a lot of erroneous data, such as GPS data, crazy timestamps from 1990 and 2044…

There was a lot wrong with this. What happened? What is the correct distance and time? In order to repair, I had to remove a lot of erroneous data, such as GPS data, crazy timestamps from 1990 and 2044 and some skiing, and sailing sections.

Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool. Import into Garmin Connect using the [import data page]

Some tips to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you delete the files in your activity folder with a Mac computer, then empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer.
Try to avoid excessive button presses during your activity.
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support.

I have no idea why it was so corrupted.

It saved no problem but then failed to upload. It was 3:05:57 duration cycling and 68.1km in total.

Uploaded no problem this time. You Sir are a legend. Thanks for the tips also. I have just cleared down my device of old activities so hopefully this will help to stop any more corrupt files.
