It appears that my Garmin Connect mobile app is having problems connecting to Garmin Web APIs, the "white" loading indicator at the top is looping forever as the application becomes unusable. Sometimes I can see cards in My Day tab while the indicator is loading and sometimes I do not. One thing for sure the loading indicator spins forever, eating up my phone battery in the background.
The mobile app does not have any problems syncing with my Fenix 6 watch, the green circle around watch image completes successfully indicating a successful sync.
Activities, Sleeping, Statistics (cards) are not displayed on my phone app while all data is available on Garmin Connect Web.
This been happening for the past 3 days.
Things I tried:
- Cleared app cache/data.
- Uninstall/Reinstall the app.
- Checked Device Sync Audit with no apparent warnings/errors.
- Installed the app on another phone.
- I am using the latest version of the mobile app (4.40)
- Connected my watch via cable to PC, updated Garmin Express to the latest and ensured the watch is on latest firmware (15.20)
- Restarted both the phone and watch.
I followed the instructions mentioned in the below link but that didn't work either.
I also checked Garmin Web Service statuses, and all appear to be online.
At this point I have no idea what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated.
