Strength training - editing exercises. Bulk Edit and Edit Recent Exercises List

1) I want to bulk edit sets of the same exercise. Currently have to do it one by one. 2) I would like to remove some of the exercises listed in my "recent" list. Any way to edit the recent list?

  • My recents is 'full' or rather unpredictable.  Some of my frequents such as barbell deadlifts have disappeared, yet some accidental additions such as ab jabs stay.  This is frustrating.  Would like to check all exercises and edit once and edit my bugged recents.

  • I agree and have the same issue. Since it frequently misidentifies my exercises, I have to edit them manually and without a functional or user friendly recents list, it's a real pain.

There's another thread about clearing the recents that is 4 years old. This seems like a very basic feature to have. C'mon @Garmin let's get it done!

I found this question when looking for same capability.  My list is a mess & it doesn't facilitate quickly finding the lift I want.... Which is the purpose of a "recent\frequent" sub set

It's not even "recent" from what I see.  It's been almost 6 months since I used some of the lifts shown as recent.

the exercises auto-recognized by Garmin are incorrect. Bulk Edit can save a lot of time for me.

  • Really love that this is two years old and still hasn’t been addressed. I love my Garmin watch and the UI for their stuff, but the customer service is a total joke. I have half a mind to go back to my crap Apple watch due to the poor service and responses.

  • Yep, I'm  still searching for the same thing.  I wonder if a "Factory Reset" would at least CLEAR the Recent Exercise List....

  • So Garmin, how many years will you take before you enable users to remove exercises in the Recents tab of an activity?

  • Garmin Connect Mobile Android Anything Garmin? Is it at least on the developer's radar? I appreciate all the updates with new activities to be tracked, but it seems a little strange to continuously roll out new features when such a commonly used existing activity like "Strength" has issues like this.

  • I'm going to add to this... please listen to the people. Would be much better to be able to edit the "recents" and to bulk edit. Long click and click the others you want to change the names of strength exercises. Edit recents exercises to delete accidentally clicked one and add the ones you always edit.
