Closes immediately after opening. Message says on phone screen says "Connect keeps stopping" I sent feedback and no reply. Reset network, restarted phone, uninstalled connect, restarted phone, reinstalled connect.
Phone is an LG 30. Battery is well charged on both devices. Below is the procedure I followed to try to connect,
1. reset network connection. Restarted phone, set up network connection. NO change won't stay open.
2. Uninstalled Garmin connect. Turned phone off. Waited a few minutes, turned on phone and downloaded and installed Connect from play store
3. Same thing, Will not stay connected. Restarted phone to be sure it was indeed reinstalled
Just in case: repeated the entire procedure again
This time, I restarted the phone after redownloading and installing Connect before trying to see if it would work. It did not help.
I don't think it matters which Garmin I have as the app won't open. I have both a Vivofit 3 and a Vivosmart 3. Of course neither are connected now since the app will not stay open long enough to do anything. The Vivosmart 3 is only 10 days old and it works fine other than constantly vibrating to tell me to reconnect to my phone, which I cannot do.
The problem started about 3 days ago.
