Vivoactive 3 not syncing properly with Garmin Connect android app

Is there a problem with the android Garmin Connect app and syncing? My steps sync to the My Day screen but don't update in the 7 day, 4 week & year screen, and activities and sleep etc are also not updating. This has been an issue since Thursday for me. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, unpaired and repaired watch (Vivoactive 3) etc. I managed to sync by connecting to Garmin Express on PC so i think it's the android app that is the problem.
