Why is my sleep not showing up in app?

Why is my sleep not showing up in app?

  • I'm having the same issue, can you share how you checked if the firmware had fully transferred to the watch? Thank you

  • I am fixed now. I disconnected the watch from my account and reconnected it to my account. It then took forever to update the firmware. And it works again.

  • update: I fixed the issue. Turns out my device wasn't showing up in my Bluetooth settings, so I disconnected it from Garmin Connect app, restarted my phone, and then reconnected the device. Now everything syncs normally.

  • My solution was to factory reset the watch, then connect to a computer and run an update. The data was in the cloud, just was not showing up in the app.

  • I’ve been keeping my eye on this specific issue for aver a year now. It continues to be an issue. My Fenix 7x SS under went two full sync cycles and the Sleep content was the only information NOT carried over. I knew that if I accessed the widget directly on my watch it would then pop up on the app. That is indeed what happened. Factory resetting, or doing any other work around is not a solution, however - that is a bandaid that addresses a bug that is *yet* to be fixed after many years. Frustrating that you pay what you do for this watch and these provided details don’t get tested, vetted, and released into the app. I run the latest firmware release, by the way.

  • Not sure if you still have this problem but after 5 days of working fine my brand ned Instinct 2 solar also stopped syncing sleep data and I was reading through the forum for possible solutions. What eventually worked for me (the above solution didn't work for me) was to switch off bluetooth on my phone and then open garmin connect. It then complains that bluetooth is off and I agree that it may re-enable bluetooth. Then a succesful (and much longer) sync follows and all sleep data is transferred.

  • Yeah, still occurs. Unfortunately, the path of least resistant (compared to having to turn off Bluetooth, as you have done) is to just go to the watch and manually check sleep. That always tend to “wake up” that portion of the data to be pushed to the Garmin app. I can’t believe the developers cannot replicate this issue and resolve so we have a consistent experience.

  • Same...no sleep data for 2 days
