S62 Not receiving ANY notifications since last update.

For a month or more now I have not been receiving notifications on my S62. (My phone is a Samsung S20 & phone, watch and app are all up to date).

I have previously received texts, emails, WhatsApp & Instagram messages via my watch but for the last month or more I have had almost nothing get through. Perhaps one  week wil show up giving me hope that it was fixed then nothing more. 

I contacted the live chat help a few weeks ago when it began and they said they were aware of some users having issues since the previous update and a fix was imminent but that was 3 weeks ago!

Please help, please fix this. I expect so much more from Garmin as a company than to be left hanging. Especially as the S62 is the flagship golf watch!

  • In Addition to this the weather is not updating either.. It constantly reads 27c but its just 8 outside :-(

  • I am still having issues on a daily basis.

    I have factory reset my watch and this fixed the weather issue but the notifications are still a problem.

    If I clear the cache in the morning when I get up I may receive notifications for a couple of hours but then they stop. I have turned off all battery saving options on my phone and given the connect app every permission I can find but I am pulling my hair out with frustration.

    I know the two are paired correctly (done multiple times) as when I open the app my heart rate is live updating and the rest of the data is immediately syncing.

    Can somebody please help as I just dont know what else to do..
