Google fit integration

Is any info about Google fit integration here?

Our gov. healthcare system is using Google fit to sync some info about pacients  condition and it was very useful while using xiaomi

    I am not sure whether Google Fit has a direct interface to Garmin Connect, but you can interconnect them through one of countless 3rd party apps, available on both sides - such as MyFitnessPal, Strava, Endomundo, Runalyze, etc. You can find a longer list of such 3rd party services for example here: www.androidauthority.com/.../

    That is true, but it doesn't sync the steps. Also if you spend that much money on a device you kinda expect to not be needing another service to transfer your data to something basic like google fit.

    Currently i am planning on upgrading my fenix 3 and i think i will go for polar next as they seem to have google fit sync natively.

    Yes, why not. Buy whatever fits you best.

    Thx for your support. It means the world to me coming from you.

    Looking at the numers, as Garmin is losing market share since a couple of years, it might be a good idea to have some basic features included. Especially since health insurences seem to pay more attention to the activities of their clients. Fit From my point of view it is just a matter of time until there will be an implementation and it kinda baffles me that it hasn't happened yet.
