Connect my Garmin Fenix 3 to Wi-Fi with Garmin Connect App for Android

Hi there!

I am following the tutorial below and I cannot connect my Fenix 3 to my Wi-Fi. The options listed do not appear in Garmin Connect App:

I get to my watch but I have no options to configure anything. How can I connect my Fenix 3 to Wi-Fi with Garmin Connect?

Fenix 3 does not have any wifi, only Bluetooth. Use the tips in the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide, if you have problems connecting with BT.

The Fenix 3 does have Wi-Fi, in addition to the Bluetooth connection, look at the characteristics:

Just that's what I did before answering, and searched the page for the string "WiFi", with no result. Is it called differently there? The page is huge, and I did not have my morning coffee yet, and am lazy to parse the whole spec. Where is it exactly?

EDIT: OK, I found it. Yes, it is there as WI-Fi

Just now I managed to connect my watch to Wi-Fi using Garmin Express for Windows, but I can't do it using the Garmin Connect for Android App. The option does not exist.

That's right. Wifi is a replacement for the USB cable.You can only connect to Garmin Express with the USB cable, too.

Garmin Express is not the problem. I have managed to connect my watch to a Wi-Fi network with Garmin Express. The problem is with Garmin Connect for Android. From this App I can't connect the watch to the Wi-Fi network that I indicate.

Reread my answer. Only Garmin Express can be connected to with both WiFi and the USB cable. That's how it was designed. There is the BT for the wireless connection to Garmin Connect.

You misunderstand my question. I have already found in the Fenix 3 manual that it is only possible to setting up the watch's Wi-Fi via Garmin Express. Look the following link:

If the connection to Garmin Express works, and you already know you cannot connect over the WiFi to Garmin Connect, so what exactly are you looking for now?
