Import Gpx from external app

Hi all

I am close to buy a fenix 5 or Instinct solar
I would like to check one important thing before, which is not clear from what i read in the web:

When i am in a tent without any internet connection around, i use to create route offline with third party app ( locus map, view ranger, visorando,...)
All this applications may export gpx on my phone
Is it possible, with my phone ( not PC), and without internet connection, to export the gpx in the fenix,  and what is the procedure ?

    Just tested it - Garmin Connect Mobile won't import it without Internet connection, but the Garmin Explore app will do it.

    Simply open the GPX file with the Garmin Explore app (tap the gpx in the file manager, and select the Garmin Explore app in the Open With dialogue), and then sync GE with the watch.

    i downloaded explore and imported Gpx. that's work !
    As i have not yet connected watch, do you confirm the export explorer ->watch work without connection ?

    Yes, I confirm GE syncs without the Internet connection. You just need to enter the device settings of the watch in GE, and select the Collection containing the GXP tracks, for syncing. It syncs only selected items (unless you enabled the option "Sync Everything").

    Great !
    And it's even easier with Locus map, there is a "share button" and i can select directly Garmin explore.No needs to use the file manager :)

    The main reason I want to use Locus map is that even offline i can  create a route that follow the paths, and not point-straight-point. very better to evaluate different options :)

    Hello,

    I just wanted to try this and I guess it doesn't work anymore.
    Also GE probably needs internet. Anyway, without the internet the synchronization fails...

    Is there a solution for this?

    For GE i don't know but for locus map it's a problem of upgrade of garmin connect app i think
    I believe I solved this issue by downgrading garmin connect as suggested by locus map for garmin app
