My Garmin Luze GPS maps have not been recording my runs location, it connects outside but does not record the route taken and sometimes gives Incorrect distances.

GPS is totally out from my Luxe. My phone location is correct via my running app through my phone but Garmin Connect is appalling, started to record incorrect distances and all over the place direction recorded.

Have a look at the document Using the Connected GPS Feature With a Garmin Watch - there are some details and instructional videos explaining how to use the Connected GPS feature.

If it does not help, there may be a problem with the Bluetooth connection between your watch and the GC Mobile app on the phone, or perhaps your phone suppresses the app (very common especially with Huawei phones, who use quite aggressive battery optimizing). Some tips for that case are described in the Sync / Connection Troubleshooting Guide.
