Does anyone have multiple garmin watches and if so does it mess up the garmin health stats in the connect app if you alternate wearing them?

  • Although you should be good for steps if you alternate devices that support TrueUp, some stats (like sleep) depend on the primary tracker. My guess is you could miss some stats along the way.

  • I have a Fenix6X Pro Solar and I still have my Fenix 3HR. When I'm charging my 6X I wear my Fenix 3HR. What I do is turn on the Fenix 3HR and force sync both watches with Connect before charging the 6X. I have not seen any issues with data missing other than what is because of the limitations of the 3HR, such as body battery, stress and pulse ox if you have it on. I then force sync the two watches after charging is done before turning off the 3HR. I did this same thing when I had the 3HR and a Vivosmart HR and it worked fine. I've charged my watch overnight before and because the 3HR tracks sleep as well the data was still there. If you had two watches that tracks all of the current available metrics then you shouldn't have any issues. The only reason for designating one device as your primary device is so that Connect knows which data to prioritize if there is data for same time period. If there is no data from your primary tracker it will just use any data available from any other connected device.
