Sharing a Photo with Stats not working

I have a Garmin 35 and a Huwai p35 and I wanted to try the Share "photo with stats" feature. But it fails everytime.

I go to share->photo with stats-> select image from gallery -> crop -> it then only allows me the next screen . Whatever app I choose to share it with it only sends the photo superimposed with a tiny black box saying Garmin on it.

The only.way it works is if I click on share with nearby phone.

Just to add. What I really want to do is just share my running stats. I'm not even bothered about a separate photo.

It works for me, but if you do not need the photo, share the Activity as Web Link.

I want to show the activity as an image for a running group. A web link doesn't look very appealing - but thanks - I realise this would work.

I could not replicate your issue on Galaxy S9+, android 10. I was able to send photo with stats via text and email. Although, I have seen on here where some (not many) have reported this issue from time to time. Maybe try reinstalling the app, then contact Garmin Support if still problematic.
