I do not recieve voice feedback when I do training.

I'm using Forerunner 630. When I did setup, voice feedback worked. But suddenly it stopped. I'm not aware if this is due to any updates. Anyone else who have the same issue or tips to get it work?

  • If it is still enabled in Device Settings » Activity Options » Audio Prompts, then the most common reason is that the volume is set too low. The setting of the volume for the audio prompts is independent from the phone's system volume, and it can be rather tricky to adjust it, especially if you cannot hear it at all, since you can only adjust it when the sound plays. The easiest way to do it when you do not hear anything at all, is setting for example the Pace announcement every minute. Then wait the next full minute (0 seconds), and try increasing the volume.

    When this worked, the volume on my playlist was reduce. This doesen't happend. I was also able to adjust volume in Connect. When I try that, the cursor just spin. This was possible earlier.

    I have also tried what you suggest, both with and without background music. Nothing work and I'm not able to hear any feedback.

  • Well, you could try clearing the cache of the app, or reinstalling it. Also make sure it has all necessary permissions. And make sure the BT connection between the watch and the phone app is working wile the activity is in progress (the app must continuousely show your HR and Steps).
