Garmin Venu stuck syncing

I just got a new garmin venu, ive been trying to add some bits via Connect IQ but everything is listed as 'queued' and won't download, I was told to open the Garmin Connect app sync my watch them return to the IQ app and it would work however my Connect app appears stuck half way through syncing 

Any idea how to get it to sync and start my IQ downloads?

  • Check out the Device Sync Audit in GC Mobile Settings - perhaps there are some hints aout the reasons of the failed sync. One possibility could be insufficient storage space on the device - connect the watcht to a computer, and clean up the folder //GARMIN/Activity/

  • No space isn't an issue I have the audit but no idea what it's telling me Face palm

  • Well, from what I see there is at least one error: Download Status = FAILED (Remote device disconnected)

    Not sure whether it refers to your watch (BT disconnection), or to the server with the IQ extension (network disconnection), but I'd try syncing over the USB cable to Garmin Express, to see if it makes any difference.

  • Express worked and seems to have unblocked my mobile app now I've sorted my IQ stuff,
