Message received from whatsApp not enabled to reply

Upon receiving a WhatsApp message for some contacts or groups I have the reply enabled (icon at the bottom right of the message) while for others I do not.
What could be the problem?

EDGE 1030 plus V4.00 Italian language.

Do these contacts/groups contain an emoji? Try saving them without one - then you can reply.

Problem in some models is that those messages are actually handled as notifications only, not messages per se.

You cannot reply a notification on your phone

Do these contacts/groups contain an emoji? Try saving them without one - then you can reply.
