Weather widget stopped displaying on Vivoactive 3. Closing app and GPS did not help.

I've had my Vivoactive 3 for over a year and sometimes the weather widget will not display the weather even though my phone is connected, the app and phone are synced and the GPS is on.  I've tried closing the app but nothing helps. Any suggestions?
