Also note the possibility to export the chart to a CSV file (see the symbol in the top right corner of that page), so you can open it directly with Excel.

Could have saved myself a lot of work over the last few years

Although there is a workaround for this in form of using the Web, it is totally unacceptable that this is removed from the App and replaced with something useless like weekly overviews.

True, but you need to complain at Garmin's Customer Support, they won't see you dissatisfaction here on the user forum, so it is unlikely they'll change it, if nobody requests it from them. Better told, they will only change it, if there are massive complaints causing high load on their support lines.
