Mystery missing cycle ride

Hi. I have a new forerunner 645. Yesterday I went for a run and it appeared immediately in the connect app. Today I cycled and although the activity is on the watch it's not appearing in the connect app. Have tried a manual sync both from the phone app and the watch. No errors, just no record of the cycle ride appearing in th app! Any ideas?

  • This usually happens when there's a corrupt file on the watch. You can still see the activity summary on the watch, but garmin connect finds errors in the file and does not accept it.

  • Did you already try a manual upload to Garmin Connect Web?

    • With your Garmin device connected to your computer
    • Open the drive associated with your device.
    • Look for your FIT file under the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder
    • Drag and drop the file on to the Garmin Connect Import Data page.

           

    If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please zip the file and attach it to this thread. We can look at it to see what might be wrong.
