How to find Fastest Mile?

I accidentally clicked "running" when I went for a bike ride, so obviously that triggered a new fastest mile for me. However, when I went in and changed the activity to Cycling, it left my fastest mile open. Is there any way to have it look for my fastest mile within my running activities? It's a computer, and stores all the data, so there must be a way, but I can't find any way to do this. Thanks

No, it is not available, since the personal records are being detected only in real-time on the watch. The app has no such algorithm for detecting PRs implemented. You can only do it manually - in Garmin Connect Web, you can open the Trim dialogue, finding the fastest mile section (use the Distance mode, not the Time mode for that purpose), trimming it, then using the function Set as PR, and then restoring the original (entire) Activity back.

this post is kind of old but I just found how to go about it. Although this may be becase the Garmin Connect Web is updated. Go to personal records then look for "customize list" on the top right part, then youll see options to enable view of the 1 mi record
