Is there a way to share Courses with connected riders/athletes?

Is there a way to share Courses with connected riders/athletes? I've not been able to figure a way without downloading the. gpx file and sharing the actual file outside of the app.

Not using the connections feature, but you can from Garmin Connect Web. It's basically an easy way to copy a link from your public course
