Connect App Deep Sleep Data discrepancy

Hi,

I needed help to understand the deep sleep data discrepancy in the garmin connect app.
Attached are the two screenshots of today's sleep, when I synced the data in the morning it showed me deep sleep of 44 minutes but when I synced it again at night before sleep, it shows 0 deep sleep and those 44 minutes got distributed in light sleep and REM sleep. This happens quite often. Can anyone help me understand the reason behind this?
  • There are countless threads discussing it here on the forum. For example the following ones,  but you'll find many more, if you dig in a bit:

  • I have the same issue. I just bought this device and was really interested in tracking my sleep phases. But looks like you can't rely on this data. I'm not sure if I should contact support or they already know about it.

  • That's the way it works for everybody

  • I have this problem too. I've occasionally checked my sleep stats during the night, and have had deep sleep periods randomly distributed. However, when syncing in the morning this deep sleep is reduced to a short period always shown to be shortly after going to sleep. A Huwawei  band I also wear mirrors the original   mid sleep Garmin pattern however. Something definitely wrong.

  • I have this problem too. If I  check my sleep stats during the night I  see randomly distributed deep sleep periods. After syncing in the morning these have been significantly reduced, like hours to minutes, and always shown to be shortly after going to sleep.  My Huwawei band however mirrors the original nighttime  Garmin readings closely in both duration and time of night.
