December cycling challenges.

It clearly says "cycling activities", yet all of my virtual/indoor activities have not been recognised within these challenges?

The activities need to be registered with a Garmin device. Manual and (most of) imported activities do not count.

They did last month...what has changed in January?....in fact they are recorded as activities in the activity log but not for the challenges. This change only happened a few days ago...any ideas?

I can report the same issue as 9003833. All virtual activites uploaded from zwift during december were recognized for the december challanges – for the current challange this changed some days ago. Leaving the challange and joining again (as some state in other threads) didn’t change anything.

Nevertheless my virtual activites are recognized in a private challange (both in december and january).

But why do they now need to be direct through Garmon when they were showing up in challenges before a few days ago

That was a bug, that they fixed recently. Imported activities were never supposed to count towards Badges and towards Badge Challenges. From the official document Garmin Connect Badge Achievements:

Activity must be recorded using a Garmin device.

That's not a bug, that's expected user behaviour! Wish Garmin would focus on fixing ACTUAL bugs...
