Incorrect Battery status..Can someone help?

My Garmin Instint showed incorrect battery status..I charged it fully..The watch showed status as Battery fully charged..But even after usage for about 5 days the battery status showed as fully charged..and all of a sudden it completely discharged during my Run..

Is this a bug? Can this be corrected?

Did you already try restarting the watch? What firmware version do you have on it? (see it in the Settings » About)

I restarted..it is showing correct status now..but I was worried as this was very erratic..I will check the s/w version too..thank you so much.
