Garmin connect syncing but epo.bin is zero bytes size

Garmin connect  mobile doesn't finish syncing :

Activity is uploaded but the gps data update fails : epo.bin size = 0

Works fine via usb. Epo.bin size is 63k

The phenomena happens in last 1.5 weeks

    Check the Device Sync Audit (in GC Mobile Settings menu), after the unsuccessfull sync. There may be some hints regarding the failure. It can for example happen when you just left your home for the outdoor Activity, the phone is still on WiFi, though no more in the range of the router, and the mobile data not yet active. To avoid it, turn off WiFi on the phone before leaving the house, and make sure mobile data is on.

    The problem seems that the mobile garmin connect  cannot download from  the server holding gps epo.bin while the garmin express can . 

    The upload of the activity done ok. 

    The sync audit  is also ok.

    Yes, I understood. Reread my previous post - it explains the likely and frequent reason for it.

    Thank you so much.

    Followed your advice , did something similar 

    Rebooted the phone. Cleared app cache.

    Disabled wifi and then synced using mobile data

    It worked.

    the problems repeats itself , appx. only 1 out of 10 synced  epo.bin is 63K bytes , 9/10 epo.bin = 0 bytes. 

    The solution : installed old GCM version 4.29 , this works OK.
