Features Request

  1. Add Strength as an option to "automatically add" for gear.
  2. An auto increase in weight for strength training once you achieve the desired reps would also be an amazing feature, allowing the watch to be an artificial trainer of sorts.
  3. Option to add custom excercises you can name, as you cant always find the excercise you need or they have different names for different countries.
  4. It would be great to see an option for gear rather then just KM, but to have time used, as gear doesn't just use an estimate of distance. My sauna as an example.
  5. Give more customization over all to custom workouts, for example:

  • What gear is used for that specific workout.
  • The option to make the workout visible or invisible to groups/connections etc. Automatically rather than editing afterwards.
  • Is it a training or fitness workout, again rather than editing it afterwards.
  • It would also be great to categorize workouts with mucle groups, for example: Biceps, or to be able to add more than one musclegroup, this way we could see how many workouts for chest we have done in the last 6 months and see whats working, or not.

The overall customization is lacking in honesty, however this does not stop me from using the device at least 7 days a week, as it is overall one of the best devices on the market in my opinion.  With these features it can only improve allowing the user to focus mainly on the workouts without fulling behind in editing the workouts later.

Thanks for the good work guys, keep it up.

  • Oh my god, YES to number 3 in particular! I basically only do weightlifting, so appreicate stumbling across this.

I can't believe you can't add your own exercises, it's so annoying. I'm not for any minute thinking they should make your exercise name available to everyone as then there would be a million and one listed like MFP has gotten with people adding food. But, maybe if they kept spotting the same name being added by loads of users, they add that one to their pre-set list. Also, their pre-set list has some really strange exercise names on there - no idea where they get them haha.

As for your last bulletpoint you can edit the name of the workout if that helps? E.g. I label mine Upper body 1a (the a is to do with which month cycle i'm on, and 1 being the first of my 2 a week, so I know that's my Monday workout) or Lower body 2b. This way I can easily see which workout was which type, without having to go in and look at all the exercises I did (not that I edit these anyway!!)
