Garmin Coach suggests different paces before and during workout

Background:

After a Garmin Coach-based run, the watch told me I had achieved a new "threshold pace" of 5:22 min/km and asked me if I accepted that threshold. I had no idea what that meant and answered "yes".

Next run, Garmin Coach (Amy) tells me to do a "Steady state run" with a "Moderate" pace of 6:01-6:20 min/km. During that run, the pace-meter on the watch seems to suggest a green span of sub-6 min/km. It looked like the the green pace was more like the 5:22 pace I had accepted. I ran as the the program had told me before the run, closer to 6 min/km, and the watch marked the ongoinh pace-updates ("you're running 6:05 pace) as red.

Question:

Do pace thresholds like the 5:22 I have accepted have anything to do with the goal of my Garmin Coach training program? Should I run according to the green zone of the pacemeter during Garmin Coach-based runs, which seem to correlate to the accepted pace threshold rather than the pre-run-instruction?
