My run appears about 1km off its true location after uploading to garmin connect. Used instinct solar during the run.

The recorded course is about 1km west of its true location.

Also the recorded altitude is over 2000m while the true altitude is less than 100m.

Probably you did not wait till the GPS lock, or have an outdated EPO file, so it started recording later.

Looks like you need to calibrate the altimeter. To fix it in that specific Activity, enable the Elevation Correction on the page of the concerned activity in Garmin Connect Web.
