Livetrack with sms notification

Bonjour,

Mes parents n'utilisent pas d'application e-mail sur leur smartphone et donc ne sont pas prévenus quand je commence mes séances de courses à pied. Cela les rassurerait de pouvoir me suivre (je suis une femme et je cours seule).

Garmin ajoutera-t-il la possibilité que livetrack envoie un SMS plutôt qu'un e-mail ?

They probably could, but a much simpler and quicker solution is using one of countless email-to-SMS gateways (passerelle mail SMS). You can start using it instantly. Just make sure to verify the reputation of the service you choose, before deciding for one, because some of them may abuse the service for spamming.

A relatively secure way from this point of view, would be using either directly a service of your phone operator, or a well established business - for example you could set up a Twiiter account, sent the Live Track invitation to that Twitter account, and having SMS notifications enabled in that Twitter profile.
