I have a Fenix 5 plus and for the last week livetrack autostart isn't working. I've checked all the settings and all are fine, it starts if I take it off autostart and start it manually.
Anyone else had this issue and fixed it?

I don't have this issue, as livetrack works 99% of the time. However, I've seen reports on this forum that some are having issues when their phone is connected to wi-fi at the start of the livetrack activity. As you move away from the wi-fi signal and the signal drops, the Garmin Connect app tries to switch to cell signal. This might be where the disconnect occurs. Possibly try turning wi-fi off from your phone several minutes before you start your activity.
Thanks for this and yes I have had this problem in the past. But now it is all the time, I can be leaving work to come home and so not been connect to any wifi and it does it. I haven't changed anything which is why I was wondering if anyone had the issue.

Could be also caused by the phone settings - for example if you activated some kind of mobile data saver, limiting the use of mobile data by applications. Or a setting limiting apps in the background. Before starting your activity, open the GC Mobile app, and assure you the BT connection to the watch is established (green dot on the watch symbol), and that the app does not complain about unavailable Internet connection. Keep the app on the foreground.
I am getting a livetrack failed notification on the watch so had assumed it had a connection....
What brought you to the assumption? If there is no Internet connection, you'd get exactly that notification.
True. But doesn't explain when I am not starting from home......
Did you read my previous post about Android settings, and did you try folllowing the instructions?
I checked I hadn't limited anything.
Make sure you have also verified the settings of the Data Saver in Android's settings (tap the name into the search box in Settings, to get to it quickly). If it is on, add Garmin Connect Mobile to the exceptions.
