Garmin Connect APK for Android

Dear Garmin,

when will you offer a native APK download directly from Garmin and/or support Huawei App Gallery without Google Services integration (e.g. use openstreetmap integration at App)?

  • This is a user forum, so do not expect Garmin employees answering here your questions. Besides that, a corporation with headquarters in the USA cannot officially support Huawei which is under the ban by the US government.

Hi trux, thx for your answer. Of course, this is well known but honestly I expect a company like Garmin to have their App's available for Android platforms without sticking just on Google Services. Devices like Fenix, etc. are not cheap and I, as a customer, want to get Garmin Connect to be available and developed more open. As of this I like to engage every Garmin user to speak up to foster Garmin to untear from OS Stores and their integrated services and to become more native.

  • Garmin as any other corportation has to abide laws. If you want to bypass the laws, just install the APK from a public archive such as apkssl.com or apkmirror.com
