My watch has record strength workout, but the active calories and intensity minute are not added in Garmin Connect app.

When I checked daily detail, it didn't record heart rate during strength workout.

Is it watch's problem? Or app problem?

Without the HR, there can be no Intensity Minutes and no Active Calories. You have to have a functional HRM.

It is only you who can tell it. Did the watch show the HR during the workout? If not, then the problem is on your watch. If yes, then there is either a problem with the syncing or with the storage on the watch, not having any space remaining for saving the monitoring file.

Could be also a problem of the settings, for example if you turned off the HRM, or if you use the Power Manager and turn off the HRM at low battery. Could be also a bad fit of the wrist band or other conditions preventing the HRM to work properly (i.e. strong peripheral vasoconstriction).
