Is there a setting that can prevent Garmin from updating Garmin Connect?

Now that everything is working again I'm wondering if there is a setting that can prevent Garmin from updating Garmin Connect. They will often push something to the phone that then breaks stuff. For example I went about 3 weeks without getting notification until the upgrade yesterday.

    If you are speaking about the update of the Garmin Connect app, then the setting is on your phone, more precisely in Google Play store, on the page of GC Mobile (tap the tripple dot menu symbol, and uncheck auto-update). If you meant updates of the firmware of your Garmin device, then you can disbale them in the System Settings on the device.

    Excellent! Thank you much! I didn't know about the setting in Google Play Store.

    As regards the firmware, that setting is simply a software switch which Garmin could always choose to ignore for any particular update. I do have auto update turned off though.
