Could be you've reached a storage limit. This varies based on the type of watch. From Garmin Connect Mobile > Menu > Connect IQ Store > My Device. Look at Installed Apps remaining and Space Available.
If that looks fine, then you can also install CIQ apps using a USB cable from your watch to your computer and Garmin Express
