Edge810 and Android - Upload Failed

I have the issue of upload failed  between Edge 810 and Android phone using bluetooth connectivity for about a week.  Currently, I have to do USB sync on PC with Garmin Express instead.   I have tried clearing all FIT files on Garmin and tried deleting bluetooth pairing, restarting phone and Edge810 and re-creating bluetooth paring. Nothing works so far. I see 'ErrorShutdownReports' msg in device sync audit. More info is listed below.

Hardware/software

- Edge 810 with latest version 6.3

- Samsung A9 Pro with Android 8.0.0 ver. SDK 26

- Garmin Connect Mobile version 4.36.3

    Updated : issue is resolved with Garmin Connect Mobile version 4.37.   Additionally, I also tried factory reset on Edge810 and cleared bluetooth cache on my phone.  Not quite sure which one fixed my issue.  Thank you anyway.

  • It's the factory reset that works. I had the same problem. Did a factory reset and reconnected Bluetooth. I manually disconnected all my Bluetooth settings ('forget phone') then did factory reset. I didn't lose any of my data from my Garmin Edge 810 doing this either. Then it correctly paired and uploaded my last ride to my phone. Thumbsup
