How do i change the time settings on my garmin watch?

I need help to update the time on my garmin watch. I have tried syncing my phone to watch but has not worked.

Please help

It syncs with GPS. Just go out, and turn it on, or start an outdoor Activity.

I don't have gps on my phone. Is there another way?

GPS on your watch, not on your phone.

The time is also synchronized with the smartphone as soon as you are connected to Garmin Connect.

I'm not sure which watch you have but try going to the main Setting page, the System page, then the time page. There I can set the time manually, have the time be set automatically, which is from syncing with your phone. I know this because when I traveled abroad last year, once I landed and my phone reconnected and synced, my watch automatically updated the time. There is also another option of Sync, which will use GPS to calibrate your time. This requires being outdoors of course. So you have a number of options.
