Calories are not syncing with garmin connect.

Good evening.....Calories are not syncing with garmin connect. The watch (forerunner 245 music) is showing always 0 calories. Is there something wrong since this is happening after the update of last Friday?

  • Did you already try to restart the watch? Does the heart rate monitor work?

    Watch restarted for several times and formatted as well. Heart rate monitor works perfectly. On the Garmin Connect Calories are working good as well. The.only problem.is that they are showing as 0 on the watch.

  • I have this same issue, how can we fix this? I noticed this morning there was a software update as I started my morning workout perhaps they break something along on that update.

    The calories are being recorded and displays correctly on Connect app and Garmin express on computer. However, calorie info displays as zero on some watch faces but not others.  I tried factory reseting default settings.  I also updated to the 5.2 update. These steps did not fix the zero calories.

    In that case, why the title tells "Calories are not syncing with garmin connect"? Burned calories are calculated on the watch, and synced to the Garmin Connect, not vice versa. What Calories exactly are you looking at, on the watch. daily Active Calories, Activity Calories, Total daily Calories, or what exactly? Did you have the correct age, gender, weight, heigth and Activity class, in the User Settings on the device?

    BTW, it looks like it does not seem to be a problem of the Garmin Connect Mobile app, but rather of the specific watch model, so you would get much more relevant and helpful answers on the forum of Forereunner 245, than here, where only few people are familiar with that model.
