They recorded yesterday when my activity was less than this
Please have a look at the document How Does the Intensity Minutes Feature Work on My Garmin Watch? and especially note the paragraph where it states:
The clue may indeed be that very sentence, especially the highlighted words - probably it was different at your yesterday's activity than today. There are indeed only very short periods in the Zone 3, and as far as I can see no 10 consecutive minutes anywhere.
The fact that people are complaining that there intensity minutes have stopped working/disappeared, should be clue enough to Garmin, that it is not user error. Someone at Garmin needs to pull their finger out and fix the problem. My fitness levels haven't changed from the time it worked till now. My intensity minutes have not been showing for a couple of weeks, apart from an odd couple of occasions but only partially recording, for a day or less. This is a Garmin fault, not a consumer one!
Garmin, that it is not user error. Someone at Garmin needs to pull their finger out and fix the problem.
|t is indeed neither user error, nor Garmin's. It simply works correctly and exactly as designed: Intensity Minutes are only those where your HR stays above the threshold for more than 10 consecutive minutes. There is nothing to fix.
