How to clean connect app?

I bought a Forerunner 245 Music to track my runs and to entertain me while running. I also occasionally log my pulse during the day for the sake of curiosity. This work all very well. I like the device a lot.

But I am not not interested in motivating notifications, whatever from my watch. I can motivate myself and I do not need a virtual trainer. I don't want to receive disturbing fitness trends while running nor an award for having slept well while my baby has kept my awake all night and I feel like having spend the whole night in a bar. I am also not interested in comparing myself with other community users or in virtual challenges from my watch.

What is the easiest way to have the Garmin web and Android apps only accumulate data and summarize it in a clear way but disable all community, coach, motivation features?

Thanks!

  • Turn them off in the settings. Settings->Notifications

If you get boxes on the My Day page for Insights etc then just swipe them away and click "Always hide".

Take the others case by case. You often disable it when you get it.

The badges will disappear automatically after you've got them once.
